Who I Am
I am Martin Toe, a dedicated community organizer, artist, and advocate for change. My passion lies in building relationships, mobilizing communities, and fostering leadership that transforms lives. Whether through organizing, storytelling, or music, my goal is to inspire action and create lasting impact.
My Journey
Born in West Africa, I understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities within the diaspora and our home countries. My experiences as an immigrant shaped my belief that lasting change starts from within and requires collective effort. Over the years, I have worked across various sectors, uniting people around issues of social justice, economic empowerment, and faith-based leadership.
Professional Experience
Organizer at Large, Granite State Organizing Project (GSOP) – Mobilizing communities to advocate for social and economic justice.
Faith-Based Leadership Development – Training clergy and faith leaders to organize and build stronger congregations.
Community Organizing & Coalition Building – Working with grassroots movements to foster systemic change and sustainable impact.
Music as Activism – Creating and performing music that uplifts, educates, and sparks dialogue about issues affecting our communities.
My Mission
My mission is simple yet profound: to inspire action, build community, and create lasting change. Whether it's through community organizing, faith-based leadership, or initiatives for a better Liberia, I am committed to empowering people to take responsibility for shaping a better future.
